Paul Walters runs the London Marathon

Report from Monday 21st May 2007

A Final Message

Just a few quick words. I still have a bad back which came on in the middle of escalating the miles before the marathon, but it is easing, and I'm confident that it'll go away in the next few weeks.

In the last few weeks I have run the YMCA 5 (my best time over that course), the Heatherley 10 and the HillCrest 8K (the first time that I've ran in that one - very nice event). I'm glad to be regularly running again.

I'm very pleased to say that I've collected £2,031.43 for the Arthritis Research Campaign, which is a lot more money than I expected to collect, so I'm very pleased with the grand total for 2007.

I'm now hoping to be building for the Great North and South Runs, as well as running in the Dorking 10 (in two weeks) and the Barnes Green Half.

I hope that I've thanked you all already, but thanks to all of my sponsors. You make it all worth while!

Best wishes,

Paul.
